What can responsibly be said
Construction employers continue to report substantial difficulty filling craft and salaried positions; replacement needs and infrastructure activity create sustained demand; workforce constraints can delay projects and limit deployable crews. What cannot be said: that the trenchless industry is short exactly X workers, that one worker equals a fixed dollar amount, or that every unfilled position idles an entire crew.
